Symptoms of general health affected by colon disease:
Bad breath / Halitosis
No doubt each of us has, at some point, unwittingly had bad breath (halitosis) only to be subsequently embarrassed by the reactions of others in response to it.
There are certain foods that have a reputation for causing bad breath. Two of the most notorious ones are garlic and onions. When we eat, our digestive system breaks the food we have consumed down into its component molecules, some of which have very unpleasant and characteristic odours. As these molecules are created they are absorbed into our circulatory system so they can subsequently be distributed throughout the remainder of our body as nourishment.
As the body breaks down the food, if your colon is blocked with waste matter that has accumulated, this 'bad' smelling food can not pass through your body, and so gets added to the old hardened faeces which is already stuck to the walls of the colon. This bad smelling food will start to rot and as the blood travels through the lungs some of these bad smelling molecules will be released into them. As a result, as we exhale our breath will contain some of these offending molecules, producing breath malodour.
Frequent colds
Most diseases and viruses start in the colon. If you suffer from frequent colds colon hydrotherapy may help alleviate these symptoms.
Food cravings
Food cravings generally occur when there is a build up of harmful substances in the body, which can also affect the metabolism.
Difficult weight loss
We are all aware that exercise and a good diet put us on the right track to loosing weight, but many people find weight difficult to loose. An unpleasant but very real thought is many of us are carrying around pounds of toxic waste that's been there for years, which could be the reason weight loss is proving to be difficult.
Chronic fatigue
If the body has a build up of toxins this can make you feel tired and sluggish and leave you with the feeling of fatigue.
