Symptoms of the muscles/joints/bones/nervous system affected by colon disease:
Arthritis
If the colon is impacted it can decrease the flow of blood around the body, increasing the risk of arthritis.
Backaches
A build up of material in the colon over a long period of time starts to break down and becomes toxic. As a result the body starts slowing down other systems which can cause backache and other conditions. Backaches can also be caused by a build-up of waste matter pushing on the nerves.
Sciatic pain
Sciatic pain is caused by irritation of the sciatic nerve into the leg. This may be due to the nerves being compressed by a build-up of waste matter.
