Consultation:
The first appointment involves a consultation with an experienced therapist who will explain the procedure and the treatment, and discuss any concerns or issues you may have.
We want you to get the most out of your treatment, it's your body and you want it to work the very best it can for you. We don't dictate what you should and shouldn't eat and how you should live, because to be honest we all deserve the odd treat, as we say at Tao Hydrotherapy 80% feed your body, 20% feed your soul!
Colonics is a perfect compliment to any lifestyle, whether you are a dedicated athlete, lead a healthy lifestyle,
or don't do any exercise at all, you'll gain massive benefits from colonics. Your consultation will not only provide you
with a detailed explanation of the treatment but a look at how you can use colonics to enhance and compliment your chosen
lifestyle.
We will look at how small changes can be incorporated into your chosen lifestyle to gain the most out of not
only your colonic treatment but of your life.
The treatment:
The treatment room itself is private, hygienic, comfortable and ensures your complete privacy and dignity at all times. Using the latest state-of-the-art equipment it is safe and un-intrusive and is entirely administered by you.
You will be shown how the equipment works and will be left in private to position yourself onto a pencil thin sterile disposable tube, before the therapist returns to start the session. You are able to control the whole session by yourself if you wish. The warm purified water will flow into the rectum cleansing the colon, the treatment itself takes approximately 30 - 40 minutes.
During the treatment you will be in complete comfort relaxing on a treatment couch and covered from the waist down at all times.
Once the treatment is complete you are again left in private to rinse yourself down with the personal shower before drying and dressing.
